Atlanta Braves

It’s one, two, three strikes, you’re out, at the old ballgame! Don’t miss a chance to see the Atlanta Braves run the bases at Turner Field during the 2010 season starting April 5. The oldest continuously operating professional sports franchise in America, the Atlanta Braves are the only Major League Baseball franchise to have fielded a team every season professional baseball has been in existence, and they are the only team in sports to win an unprecedented 14 consecutive division titles.

Plan your trip to Turner Field now to witness sports history! Interested in seeing more than just the game? Make a weekend of it and stay at the Comfort Inn, immediately across the street from Turner Field. The hotel is also only 3 miles from Centennial Olympic Park, the perfect place to relax with the family, enjoy a picnic or watch the park’s entertaining fountain show.

While you’re not cheering the Braves on from the stands, visit the Ivan Allen Jr. Braves Museum & Hall of Fame to learn more about Braves history. The museum is open year-round and is the starting point of Turner Field Tours. Take a day trip to Royston, home of the Ty Cobb Museum, to learn more about “The Georgia Peach,” a hitter who still holds some records even today. Royston is about a 2-hour drive northeast of Turner Field.

When planning your trip, remember that some Braves seats are buy-one-get-one-free on Tuesdays and Wednesdays!
